ACCESS TO SOFTWARE PACKAGES FOR YEAR 6 PUPILS
On 17 June, schools were informed that the Department was seeking funding from the NI Executive for a package of measures to help children and young people through the summer and beyond, with the main focus being on how schools could best support children with their learning in preparation for next year.
All year 6 children going into 7 can be offered the use of these online programmes to support their literacy and numeracy development.
I have attached a letter to parents to explain the two programmes. I look forward to receiving feedback from you in August.
