This week we have been taking on the role of teacher, playing pupil/teacher and teaching the class mental maths. P1 have been taking part in different activities to recognise numbers up to 3 and count up to 3. P2 are doing the same up to 10. P1 have been playing games to recognise their sounds while P2 are using their knowledge of sounds, to build words. During play, we have been using the bricks to build a race track and Finley decided to build a car wash. We had to drive very carefully into the car wash so we didn't crash into the brick wall, using our problem solving skills.
